Hey all. I'm on my parents laptop and I was about to do windows update. I noticed it is a sp update. How differen is this from a regular update? It said it could takeseveal hours. Are they meaning if your connection is very slow? I don'tknow if I want to ty up their laptop for that long, and I only have a demo of win-eyes on here.

I'd appreciate some geek support...smile! Thanks!

It means it's a big update with many changes.

Does anybody know if the service pack for vista effects the latest version of jaws?

If its a service pack update, it contains many changes, and depending on your connection, it may take a bit. If your demo on window eyes runs out, narrator will work just fine.

i'd get the service pack, even if you lose your screen reader it'll be worth it in the long run
and the service pack doesn't bother jaws in the slightest, i did the update and it went off without a hitch
